Information Management Vs Data Management

According to the information I read in Grace.com, “Data Management is a subset of information management whereby data is managed as a valuable resource.” It is all about data that protected, processed, or preserved, like Database, social media, or in school, they manage the data of every student in school like name of students, or their ID number and etc. that's the data, just a subset of information

while the information Management is a set of data which is accurate because it is already processed or the data is processed, for example, if someone gets my information in my Facebook account, he/she can access to my account, but if he/she only get my data like my email he/she cannot access my Facebook account because it requires my information. so that’s the difference between them.

Data management is part of information management because without data there will be no information. It always requires raw material just to build a house
